Spear Bio is a well-funded and rapidly growing start-up company based in Woburn, Massachusetts. We are focused on bringing to market a novel ultrasensitive immunoassay platform with the ability to analyze very small sample volumes. The commercial focus of the company is on supporting life sciences, clinical, and academic research. Our platform offers best-in-class sensitivity, lab-to-lab consistency, and flexibility.

Reporting to the Head of Product Management, the Product Marketing Lead is an important member of the Spear Bio Commercial team. The successful candidate will have a critical role in the product strategy and launch, development and management of marketing collateral, and represent SPEAR bio with KOL’s and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Executes marketing outreach initiatives, campaigns and demand gen strategies.
• Coordinates with outside marketing vendors on executing on marketing strategy.
• Manages published external and internal marketing documents to ensure consistency and version control.
• Maintains and coordinates Spear Bio’s social media accounts and strategy.
• Prepare and execute product launches in coordination with commercial team and the company.
• Relay customer pain points and potential solutions as inputs to the new product development process.
• Articulate market and customer insights as inputs to the product roadmaps and corporate strategy
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on competitors, competitive products, and key applications.
• Represent Spear Bio with KOLs, key customers and partners as relevant (incl. conferences & tradeshows).
• Contribute to the product definition with R&D team through features and benefits and tradeoffs (time/cost/risk).
• Contribute to the product marketing execution within the new product development process.

Requirements

• BA/BS Science/Technology preferred
• 2-5 years experience in Marketing
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and written
• Autonomous, able to make sound business decisions consistently
• Strong work ethic, with self-starter mindset
